Whether you have a fear of heights, think you have a fear of heights, have no fear – or you’re really not sure …… an adventure on the Discovery Course will bring you face to face with your level of comfort high above the ground.
The Discovery Course is a playground, obstacle course, adrenaline rush all wrapped into one structure that allows individuals to choose which activities and paths to take as they make their way up to the third level platform with the dual Zipline exit.
The first level includes elements like the Catwalk/Balance Beam, Trolley Slide, and Horizontal Ladder to get participants warmed up and comfortable trusting the equipment.
Climb the swooping hammock up to the second level for more challenging elements, such as the Multi-Vine Crossing, Cargo Net Traverse, and the infamous Kitten Crawl. (Who’s got balance? Who’s got patience? Who’s got a partner to lean on?)
Another swooping hammock leads to the third level with even more elements to really test your skills of strength, balance, and coordination. Burma Loops, Bosun Swings, and the Gauntlet with its variety of elements will give those who make it to the top a run for their money!
The final summit is the Crow’s Nest, for a bird’s eye view of the surrounding area. Swooping hammocks lead up to this platform from opposite sides.
And then back down to ride the Zipline…
The Giant Swing is an experience beyond words. In fact, it just might leave you screamless as you begin the big, swooping pendulum ride off the second level platform. On the backswing the “butterflies in the belly” set in, and then as your swing settles into a wide arcing circle the facial expressions change, vocals emerge…..
